The intimate relationship we have with the outside elements is in all our history, and my own story frequently returns me to coastlines and the sea. Broad vistas ground me, and there is more to feel when I search the details. There I can see worlds within worlds; a tree bark is a universe for something to become lost in as much as our own place in the vastness of the sky. Human paraphernalia in this collection is occasional or non existent: forces greater than our egos are at play here. We will not last, even if something of us might.
